Outsourcing
PSI serves its clients with Procurement Business Process Outsourcing (PBPO) for procurement processes the client may wish to have professionally executed by non-payroll professionals. PBPO is delegation, by the client's procurement leadership, of the operational responsibility for the procurement process execution and performance inside or outside the client's physical environment.

The primary benefits of an inside PBPO initiative are consistency of client systems use and transaction management in accordance with existing policies and procedures. Forward thinking Procurement Officers are recognizing that process improvements, not invoice cost reductions alone, have the greatest potential for contribution and that knowledge may not be available internally.

Often budgets to acquire consulting and implementations have not been rationalized and clients choose PBPO as an alternative.
